Deepalaya Collaborates at the 22nd National Convention of Catholic Nurses Guild of India

Deepalaya is pleased to share its collaboration with the FIAMC Bio-Medical Ethics Centre at the 22nd National Convention of the Catholic Nurses Guild of India, a prestigious gathering focused on compassionate and ethical healthcare practices.

The convention, themed “Human Dignity and Peace as the Heart of Compassionate Medical Care,” aims to bring together healthcare professionals, nursing leaders, and medical practitioners to reflect on the values of dignity, empathy, ethics, and holistic care in the medical field.

As part of the convention, Dr. K C George, Secretary & Chief Executive and Former Joint Director, Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India, will lead a special session on “Mind, Heart and Spirit in Palliative Care.” His session will focus on the importance of emotional, spiritual, and psychological support in healthcare, especially in palliative and end-of-life care.

The programme will be held on 18th October 2025 at St. Pius College at 5:00 PM. The event is expected to witness participation from nursing professionals and healthcare experts from across the country.

This collaboration reflects Deepalaya’s continued commitment towards promoting inclusive, compassionate, and human-centered care practices. By participating in platforms that encourage dialogue on medical ethics and dignity in healthcare, Deepalaya hopes to contribute meaningfully towards building a more empathetic and caring society.

The organization looks forward to engaging with healthcare professionals, sharing knowledge, and supporting initiatives that place humanity and compassion at the center of medical care.
