I was honoured to deliver a session at the Haryana Institute of Public Administration (HIPA) on “School Safety Management in terms of Effective Child Protection Plan and Life Skills.”
The session focused on the National Child Policy for Children, developing an effective School Child Protection Plan, Vulnerability and Rescue Mapping, and the implementation of the POCSO Act. We also discussed the importance of life skills education in creating safe, inclusive, and child-friendly learning environments.
Ensuring every child’s safety is a shared responsibility of educators, parents, and the community. By strengthening child protection systems and promoting awareness, we can build schools where every child feels safe, respected, and empowered to learn.
